Our Pastors
Pastor Mark Doidge
Pastor Mark joined Holy Communion Lutheran Church in September 2012 as a graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. Prior to ordained ministry, Mark served as a therapist and administrator of a community mental health clinic in Seattle, WA. Mark and his wife, Heather, have been blessed with 3 adopted children. Among many of their hobbies, they enjoy golfing, bike-riding, reading, and spending time with the kids. Mark loves to meet and work with people of all ages and backgrounds. He is playful, enthusiastic, and passionate about the ways that the Church can serve and be changed by the larger community. He believes that all ministry should be relational as it strives to build God’s Kingdom here and now. His hope as a pastor is to see with God’s eyes, speak with God’s power, and love with God’s passion and grace.
