Welcome to a new year of Sunday School! All teachers are excited to have the children back in classes this year, including those who are new. Because of the current construction, classes will be at different locations than in the past, so check with your teacher to find your child’s classroom.
Sunday School classes begin in September for children age 3 thru grade 5. Children will begin in church at 8:30am and will be dismissed after communion around 9:15am. Following dismissal, they will have choir and then proceed to their classrooms. Sunday School ends at 10:30am.
Jonah and the Whale is one of the many Bible stories depicted in murals painted by the late David Holmes, a local artist and UW-Parkside professor. These murals were dedicated to the late Katharine E. Jensen.
We are excited to offer our 2-year old Little Lambs class again. The class is designed for the child and their parent to explore Bible stories together. The class begins each week at 10:00am and is held on the 2nd floor children’s library. It will also dismiss at 10:30am.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is ALWAYS AWESOME! And this year will be no different. Maker Fun Factory, Created by God/Built for a Purpose is coming to Vacation Bible School this year to ask kids to imagine a world where curious kids become inventors who discover they’re lovingly crafted by God. Classes will be in the evening from 5:30 to 8:00 pm beginning Sunday, July 30th and run through Friday, August 4th (with the exception of Tuesday, August 1st which is National Night Out). We will have lots of fun as the kids learn about Jesus through stories, songs, games and crafts. You can find a registration form on page 5 of the July Chalice newsletter or call the church office, 262-632-8802, and we will send you one.
You can check out more of our pictures from VBS 2016 on our facebook page. Thank you to all of our volunteers who made it happen again, especially Lisa and Shannon and their crew of moms and dads, Pastor Laura and everyone else who helped.
